Definitely not me!!! |
Yes, despite what it says on the blog it is Saturday, the 17th here. Home is behind us by 16 hours, which makes it confusing for calling anyone. Since Adelaide we had a sea day yesterday where something momentous happened – we won at Trivia! The first time on this leg of the voyage. It was also the day when I realized I’m not a spring chicken anymore nor am I the Energizer Bunny. The late nights of dancing and partying have caught up to me after 30 days of carousing. Added to that for the last few days in the buses on tours people have been sniffling, coughing and sneezing. The head cold making the rounds has finally found me.
After dinner with the Chief Engineer and some other ladies I had to call it a day. I didn’t go to the show or down to the club to dance. I haven’t heard that lightening struck so I guess the places survived without my company. I went to bed and slept for ten hours (which I never do) and today I feel a lot better. Nonetheless, I’m coughing and sniffling too so I decided to pass on my tour to see some more koalas. Not to worry though. Later in the cruise I’m scheduled to visit the premier koala sanctuary in the country. I’m told there I may be able to hold one.
So today I’m being lazy and catching up on e-mails and writing. I hope all is well at home. It’s hard to believe a month has gone by.

Hold a koala?! There better be a picture. Sounds great!
Hi Ann,
I hope you feel better soon. I assume there's a pharmacy on the ship, if neccessary. A good night sleep always helps too. Keep having a great time, and keep those pictures coming.

Ann, get more sleep, that is the best thing to do. You were smart to cancel your tour, please take care, just get well. ❤️🩹
Hugs
Ann, your sense of humor is still alive and well so I trust you are headed in the right direction! I was exhausted from your 30 days so I’m not surprised you are too! Continue to take care!
